I am a singer songwriter having fun performing my own music. Having an engineering background I found several rewarding interests to balance my work. They are family, gardening, two chocolate labs, and now Stella a Labradoodle, and my music. And yes, Stella had my left shoe, which inspired my song about her. My musical acoustic resources are two Gibson 6-strings and a Washburn 12-String acoustic guitar.
I have visited quite a few of the open Mic coffee houses around Minneapolis and St. Paul. Like many others, I found favor with the sounds from the late 60s, 70s, and 80s. The music of that time has left an imprint on me which instills me to write and sing.
I write songs about love, life, and fun. Some of my favorite love songs are; “Forever More”, “Waiting For You”, “Stella”, “Whispering”, and “Love Keeps Hanging On”. Two lifestyle songs I enjoy playing are titled; “I Need Help” and “Kick a Can”, and for fun, “Little Tattoo” and “Anxiety”. My newer songs, “When I’m All Alone”, “How Long”, and “Air”, are a glimpse of my life facing reality. My songwriting continues with new favorites, “To You” and “Four Leaf Clover”, added to my repertoire.
I have one album released Someday When We Know. “Stella”, “Whispering”, “I’ll Paint You A Simple Love Song” and the title track; “Someday When We Know”, carry my early songwriting days message. New songs such as “I Have Found My Dancer”, “To You”, and “Nothing I Can Hide” continue my journey. I am planning to devote more time in the near future to recording the newer songs I have written.
